I'm a firm believer in regularly pausing to take stock and ask ourselves what we want, so we can, like a sailboat, slightly tack to stay on and evolve our desired course, instead of having to make huge destabilizing changes when we find ourselves in a whole-ass other ocean being knocked around by 50-foot waves.
